Days like today I wonder how is this my life
It feels foreign to me
What happened to everything after that one day at Hardee’s
Spending my life with my best friend
How did it get to this
It took two
And now it takes me hanging on
Hanging out, and in
She loves me
But she doesn’t know how
Never knew what love was supposed to be like
And I love her
But nothing feels right
Maybe she’ll come back when it’s just her and time and phone calls and letters
Maybe it’ll be a miracle and it’ll get better
